Hi Everyone,In many ways, IELTS is a more favorable test than TOEIC/TOEFL.IELTS focuses more on long-term skill development versus short-term cramming of knowledge.
1. For those who favor the IELTS, could it be used in all situations, specifically:a. College admissions in traditionally TOEFL territory, especially US universities?b. Workplaces that traditionally use TOEIC/TOEFLc. Immigration to countries like the US?
2. Supposing there is a situation that traditionally uses the TOEFL, would writing a letter to the admissions office, and presenting respectable IELTS scores, be enough to use IELTS in substitute of TOEFL?
